Founded by University of Georgia alumni Jim Chasteen and Charlie Thompson, Hunker Spirits is proud to be an Official Partner of the University of Georgia Athletic Association and the only spirits brand created by Georgia graduates to support Georgia athletes. Produced by Atlanta-based ASW Distillery, Hunker includes both Hunker Vodka and Hunker Bourbon and celebrates the shared Georgia roots, craftsmanship, and traditions that bring Bulldog Nation together.

The partnership marks a full-circle moment for ASW Distillery, which was founded by five UGA graduates and is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. What began as a friendship between undergraduate roommates Jim and Charlie at the University of Georgia grew into a shared passion for whiskey and, ultimately, one of the most awarded craft distilleries in the country. Since opening in 2016, ASW has earned national recognition, including numerous accolades at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and continues to build on its commitment to producing exceptional craft spirits.

Through this partnership, Hunker Spirits brings together two Georgia institutions with a shared belief that the things worth having are never rushed; they are built with patience, crafted with character, and rooted in Georgia.
